Astro Saber Prog. Question

Post by Vercomm »

Hello All,

I have a astro saber that I just need to read the freq's from. I have the newest Astro Saber windows software. What do I need for cables/rib? Do I need the smart rib or will an RLN4008B rib work?

Thanks,

Jamie

What radios do you own?: Motorola/Kenwood

yes it will work.

RKN4046A is the part number for this cable from motorola.
Light travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.

So I just need to use my existing Moto Rib box and the appropriate cable with my windows software and I should have no problems reading the saber?

That is correct. If you have a normal saber cable you can switch it over to astro saber by moving one wire.
