Command series local remote blows fuses

Post by radioservice »

Hello,

I'm working on an L1473A local remote that is parralleled to one other of the same make/model, and then operates a GR1225. After three years in operation, this one all of the sudden wants to pop fuses....have you experienced this before? Where should I begin...(no skezos) Moto wants $275.00 for the first hour!

Help!

There's a diode right next to the fuse, D10, I would start there. It's a 20Volt zener. Other than that the only thing I can think of that could blow the fuse is the audio amp.

I have some schematics for the command plus. If you PM me your fax number I will send out the ps schematics. When our city purchased Comtegras and Command Plus remotes a part of the requirements was complete service info. As a result we have two binders of factory info that supposedly does not exist!

I will not sit at the copier for hours to duplicate the whole set of b sheet drawings but i will help simple requests like yours.
