Batboard

I have a CT250 uhf portable Radio that has no modulation through the internal mic. If you put a speaker mic in it there is audio but will not transmitt at all with the accy jack. I have changed the internal mic and the accy jack. It is still the same. Does anyone know where i can look next to see where this problems lies..
