"Codeplug too new for this application"

Post by wolfofoblivion »

I have read the section on getting around this roadblock in the batlabs section and was wondering if anyone has had any success with it. Also, is it possible to use a codeplug with a different flashcode to perform this trick without it bricking the target radio?

any help is appreciated.

Post the radio model and RSS version you're trying to use.
Then someone can jump in and make suggestions.

I was actually able to solve the problem without too much of a mess. Thanks though.

But different radios use different methods for "getting around the roadblock" so to speak.

The more I thought of it the more I became afriad of bricking my new AS, so I just decided to buy the new CPS instead. It was expensive, but not quite as expensive as I would imagine repairing a bricked AS would be.

Thanks again to all who were ready to offer their help.
