MCX1000

Hello,I just bought a Motorola MCX1000 VHF on e-bay. This is a new hobby for me. Could someone tell me what type of antenna connector is needed for this radio. I intend to use this as a base and need to order an antenna with the right connector. Also for the power supply will a Samlex 1212(10amp,12max) be ok to power this radio? Thanks in advance for any advice.

UHF/PL259 for the antenna.
Your Samlex supply is going to be a bit short on power... those radios, like Spectras, draw about 13 amps on transmit.

Thanks tvsjr for the information, just saved me from having to return the power supply. I orderded it yesterday and was able to change it to the Samlex 1223(23amp). Also I can order the antenna now.
