I have a Astro Spectra 800MHz,what or how to i find out if it is 1 Meg ?
Put unit into test mode...turn radio on & press 'home' button 5 times within 10 seconds after 'self test' is finished. Firmware & encryption (if applicable) information will scroll by, then model & serial numbers, then "1 MEG" or "512 K", then flashcode.

You can also go by the serial number if the radio itself doesn't want to talk to you.
Check the 5th and 6th digits of the serial number. If it's between SA and WL then it's 512K. Otherwise it's 1MB. Note: This is based on the manufacture date.
