Not very familiar with the Maratrac / Spectra mobiles. I have one that needs removed form a surplus police car and it needs a key. Anyone familiar with that? Will that affect programming?

Needs a key as in encryption, or needs a key as in the physical key in the front to pull it off the mounting plate? You'll need a 2135 key, available here (post an ad in the for sale forum) or on ebay. And no, opening the handle and removing it from the plate will not affect programming.

it uses a 2135 key, and its just used to lock it to the mounting plate.
