Hey peoples,

Forgive me here, this is a really stupid and rediculous question, and it is completely retarded But I have a few Motorola Waris series radios that have the old style of housing on them. The housings themselves are all about 8-9/10, but The /\/\ MOTOROLA decal has worn off. Several of the people who use them do not know the first thing about radios, and have difficulty figuring out which are Moto's, which are Icom's, etc.

"There is a problem with my radio"
"okay bring it here and I will fill out a repair form and hand it to the techs, which type of radio is it?"
"no idea, there is no brand name on the radio"

it gets sooo frustrating anyway, my retarded question is (dont laugh) : I don't suppose anybody has/can make a small /\/\ MOTOROLA stencil, the perfect size, so I can just get some spray paint and put the damn logo back on there, to solve this annoying problem????? It doesn't seem like much at all, and seems like a stupid thing to be annoyed about (but hey, i would also like to restore some /\/\ pride ) Its not worth a full and expensive recase, so I am trying to get it done in the cheapest way and with as little hassle possible.

get a whiteout pen and write /\/\otorola on it

though more seriously you might try ordering some stickers off MOL and just attaching them to the radio, or buy a thick piece of plastic and carve it out yourself with a razor blade.

Some great ideas there. Thanks I will give it a go on a couple of the units, it would be awesome if i could try out a stencil on one or two of the units aswell. Anybody make me one/know of one?
