I have had GREAT luck with Multiplier batteries for the Saber. I have had good luck with them for other radios, but we have been using them for Sabers for years with --perceived-- quality as good as Motorola original, at a much more attractive price. We buy them through Tessco.

But let me say, we use only the NiCd, not the NiMH. I have heard that the 2700 MAh capacity batteries can cause problems with certain chargers. We use the "medium capacity" batteries. The shorter batteries tend to last for a shift, and are a little less weight to carry on your belt. Oh, and they are a few bucks less than the full size batteries.

I have tried most all of the various batteries out there. Mostly in Sabers. I like the /\/\ nicads the best and then the Multiplier batteries the next best. Get the NiCads.... you will get better life and performance out of them. The 1800 MAh ones will last all day.
Stay away from W-W. They are the worst..... JUNK! They all fail very soon. Their warrentee is worthless. I have had them fail in the first few days of use. The longest one lasted les than 10 months.
Have fun.....

I'm not a big fan of after-market batteries (since most are junk) but I must say, Multiplier is the only one I would use next to Mototola OEM.
