JEDI charger question

Just wondering if the NTN1171A and NTN1172A rapid chargers are compatible with NiMH or just the NiCd batteries?

I think its NiCads only... I recall a problem with those chargers if you used NiMH.. It would switch to a red light or give the NiMH an incomplete charge..
