I have an m1225 that I have programmed slightly out of band before. I followed some sort of step-by-step instructions on here somewhere, but I can't seem to find it. I had to wipe my harddrive and re-install windows, so I lost whatever changes I made using hex workshop.
btw, I'm using m1225 RSS version 3.2
Any info would be appreciated.

No hex editing required to go out of band. Simply hold down the 'shift' key on your keyboard while entering the frequency using the numerals across the top of the keyboard (not the numeric keypad), and release the 'shift' key while entering the decimal point. In other words, you will have a group of symbols in the field. So 146.520 would show up as !$^.%@) .
