MC2000 remote limit channel access

While I do not see a way to accomplish this, I've been asked to reconfigure our MC2000 remotes to limit what frequency can be monitored.

The setup:

1 ASTRO Consolett with 2 MC2000's connected.

#1 needs access to channel 1, ASTRO secure.

#2 needs access to channel 2, ASTRO clear. This remote must not monitor channel 1.

Is there a way to mute or otherwise disable one channel?

These were configured to scan the two channels, in the clear, allowing any user to access both channels. I realize that I can limit Tx ability but due to security, I must limit Rx.

Any thoughts or ideas? Thanks.

Ain't gonna happen. You might as well ask someone sitting in front of a scanning radio to only listen to one channel. Your requirements dictate a separate radio per channel.

That's what I told them, thanks for the reply.

Why don't you just take the channel 1 out of the radio if they are being that anal. That way you don't have to worry about some poor soul being able to listen to them on the secure channel talking about going on a coffee run.
