Need to ID this band split

First let me apologize for this post, I know I have seen multiple posts about IDing an antenna by the color of the dot or color splash on the connector.

After searching for the past 1/2 hour, I have not found the information that I need. I have a VHF antenna on an HT-1250 it is about an 1/2" shorter than a 150-160 MT antenna, it has a small red dot on the plastic by the connector.
Any ideas?

well the book for a ht1000 says if it's vhf red=136-178, if it's uhf red=403-435, if it's for 800, red=806-870. what does the tip of the antennae look like? is it a cap or a round ball or does it just taper up to a point?

It is an aftermarket antenna that looks like it came from an MT. Has a cap, and is not tapered. Other than the red dot it has no markings.

Thanks

An aftermarket would not follow Motorola's coding. MT1000 VHF antenna's
are coded yellow, black or blue (no red).
