Minitor memory write life

Post by ffexpCP »

I have a Minitor 5 that I program myself. Is there a limit to the number of times a codeplug can be read or written to it?

I reprogram it quite often for various reasons. I’m just thinking I may need to stop if I can only do it a limited number of times.

Yeah... you'll probably cook the EEPROM in, what, 100,000 writes?

I wouldn't worry about it too much, unless you're reprogramming it every few minutes, 24/7.

That's what I thought. Just wanted to make sure. I'd rather look like an idiot here than be an idiot with a dead radio.
