MT2000 housing with electronics

Post by RonJeremy »

Does someone know what is the part number of the complete housing with display, spk, mic, keypad etc to refurb a MT2000 ?

Or do I have to purchase each individual part ? If yes, what are the parts numbers ?

What radios do you own?: XTS2500, XTS5000, and MTS2000

model I is an NTN7152, model II is an NTN7153 and model III is an NTN7154
these come complete with display board, flex (already attached), keypad, speaker felt, RF switch actuator and PTT assembly installed. You do have to buy the "Motorola" and "MT2000" nameplates as well as the top escutcheon as well as they aren't included.

Last I checked, an NTN7154 was close to 200 bucks IIRC.

Check ebay.

There is a guy in Thornhill, Ontario, CANADA on ebay that is continually selling full 15key, 6key, and Top Display units in lots in upwards of 9 and sometimes 30.

The highest the 30 units went for was something like $300 USD.

User name is 33dga?

I have tried to get my hands on some of them but that damn guy, lone_mountain_communications keeps buying them all up.

Like anyone needs that many cases!
