Doing a trade in the last few days with another fellow labber.
Trade involved some radios called STX.
NOW, here is the question, There were multiple of the
hand held radio involved, soooo............
Is the plural of STX, just STX, stxs, stx's, stixes, stxices,
stxisces, stices, sticises, or maybe just STI or STY !!!!!
Ok guys this is just for a bit of fun. Phrawg

STX "sticks" is correct for a single unit.
I generally use S-T-X-s for plural STX.
SG - no fair making fun of the STX. One of the best radios Motorola ever made!

STIX are what we used years ago...or Sticks..depending on wether or not the person was familiar with oddball terms.
But the proper format would be STXs.
I like STIXes though...HA HA!

I don't know how things are in your neck of the woods, but the local outlet here lost some of their best installing talent to LE/public safety careers.

You're joking, right? STXs are the Sabers of 800MHz, in terms of indestructability.

They did have various issues over the years like tiny audio or loud whine at max volume levels from vibration on older models.

Yeah,
but you sure could smack the :o out of someone with one of them a'la the MX-350 and not worry about a handful of parts.....
Never did care for the two foot pigsticker antenna, though.
