How to test BER

How to test BER

Hi there we use 800Mhz Astro Spectras and we have a R2670 test set and I want to perform some Bit Error Testing as well as the transmitter test patterns. Can anyone shed some light on these for me. I havent been able to find any info in the test sets manual.

I did find the BER function under the Project 25 option of the R2670, I still cant get it to work?

I think I am just making a fool of myself here. Please ignore this thread I just realized that we only have the P25 Conventional option not the Trunking option :oops:

The BER test is done in the conventional mode (or at least I did it on a XTL1500 with the 2670)
