MT2000 question

Do all MT2000s have MDC1200 in them? I know the MTS have to have the proper flash, but how can you tell if an MT is MDC enabled or not?

Also, does the MT2K use the same software as the MTS?

Thanks

MDC encode is standard fare on MT2000's. They also do QC and GE Star as well. MT2000's use the same DOS MTSX RSS. they are not CPS programmable however.

Thanks.

Is DOS RSS still available from /\/\oto with CPS out? If I get CPS, for my MTS, do I have to pay extra for the dos version?
Im new to the software thing.

The DOS RSS is included with the CPS package. At least, we've always received it with ours.

Correct, the MT2000 will not do it. The MTS2000 with MDC will.

Too bad my MTS2000 has no provision for MDC as it was not included in the flash, just plain PL/DPL/CSQ.

A4 top display......But NO signalling
