Motorola "Zeroize Adaptor"

WTF is this? Never seen one before.

I assume you hook it up between something and something else, and if you press the red button, it erases the keys in one of the somethings.

(As my 18 year old sister would describe it, at least :D )

What equipment would it be used with?

Just taking a guess at it, but perhaps you hook this up in parallel with a radio and RIB, and it provides a quick way to zap the keys from a radio when you decomission it?
