I got my hands on the Pro 2150 and trying to put in some Ham repeater frequencies and a few have PL and i have tried they code and it doesn't work.. for example for 103.5 PL i have put in the Motorola code of 014 but it still doesn't work any suggestions? Yes anything else i have programmed in has worked fine just the PL...

Anyone know of any mods for this radio maybe to expand the range?

the tpl code for 103.5 is 1A. 014 would be a dpl but it's not a motorola dpl. the lowest motorola dpl is 023. unless you meant 114? change your squelch type to tpl and just put 1A in the code box under it.

Most scanners don't do the Motorola " PL " codes; you just have to enter the PL as it is.

the Motorola Pro 2150, if i was talking about a RS scanner i would have posted it on radio Reference, not here...

I can't find where to ajust the Squelch Type and the manual is very limited on what things are.. :( yes you are correct type error 114

It wont take the 103.5 for a PL and again i can't get it to do 1A
