how to program ht750???

Hello all, I have the rib, cable and software. I have opened the radio and viewed the codeplug. I have also saved a copy of the original codeplug to revert back to if need be. My question is this: is there a tutorial on how to program in the chanels to be page only "with sleep" (so that the radio will only recieve once the tones have gone off)? also, i have seen that some others have named their conventional personalities as " hollywood fire" etc. How is this done? I wish to be able to scan on all 16 chanels, have chanel 16 be silent until the tones go out - then open up so that i can hear what the page is, and have chanel 1 be the priority for scanning

could anyone help me with this or direct me to where i could find this information?

Is it possible for someone to send me a codeplug from a radio that does one or more of these things so i can figure out how it is done?

Thanks for the help

As far as labeling personalities, it needs to be a display model, IE HT1250, or HT1550. With my HT750 I cannot name them, but with my HT1250 I can because of the display.

I'm unsure on toneouts and silent respond, but I'm sure someone else here will chime in. . .

that radio don't have a sleep mode like you describe, it can't act like a pager that way, you will always hear all transmissions but when the tones go off it will beep for you. and don't expect it to work like a pager when you are scanning, there is a 50/50 chance you won't get it.

For channel 16, you first need to set up either an MDC or Quik-Call system (whichever you use), and set that system to "AND", so that a carrier AND the proper tones or ID have to be received before it will alert. Then for personality 16 set the receive signalling to match the MDC or QC system number you just set up.
