I just got a *minty* UHF MT2k (h01sdd9aa4an) top-display radio (r02.03), and was wondering...is it capable of displaying any type of, say, MDC or GE-Star ID on the top display?

I didn't see any options for it my RSS when I programmed it, but it's possible I over-looked something under the MDC personality tab. . .

Nope. To my knowledge only MTS version will do it. I have one of each and just like you noticed there is no alias list.

Long story short, no. The MT will NOT. Must have an MTS Flashed to for MDC ID encode do so.
