XTL1500 Conventional Mic Ground

Post by N4DES »

Can anyone give me a hint as to were in CPS that I can defeat it, if it's possible? If I can help it I rather not run a ground wire from the mic clip and still maintain PL/DPL decoding capabilities and TX in the decoding configuration.

Thanks
Mark

HUB Defeats PL

(Conventional Configuration, General)

[X] Enables the radio to unmute to all carrier squelch activity on a Conventional dispatch channel when the microphone is off the hook. This is true even when the selected radio channel’s Unmute/Mute rule requires PL (Private Line). This allows for monitoring of a conventional channel to prevent transmitting during another conversation.

Note: This same functionality is also known as “Monitor” and can also be initiated by a radio-user button-press of a CPS programmable “Mon” Monitor button.
