Can someone help me out, I have a GM300, when I take the mic off the mic clip it goes into csq monitor mode...How do you make it remain in the regular mode and if you want it to be in csq monitor you press the mon button. Thanks

I'm not sure why you want to do that. Normally, a mobile off hook (csq) is so that the radio can hear if there is any other traffic on channel, which might not be using the same PL tone as your system.

You have to hard wire the "HOOK" line to ground in the head or mic. (there is no "off hook PL enable/disable like in the Maxtrac).
Off course, it won't stop scanning when you pull the mic anymore.
See batlabs for the pinout.

Thats what I thought, I reprogrammed a radio for someone and he said that it used to remain scanning when he took the mic off and all I did was change the freqs. Thanks
