Just a quick question... Is an HT10 basically just a P50 in a different case, or is this a programmable radio?

I looked on the batlabs main site and this is all it says:

"Another note on the P50+ is that "full-line" Motorola dealers sold a version known as the HT-10 which uses the same programming adapter but uses its own unique software and has a tan case."

So, can a P50 be recased into an HT10?

P50 and HT10 are the same basic crystal controled radio. The P50 is a Radius line and the HT10 is Motorol branded.

The P50+ has a programable PL/DPL/Signaling board, the rest of the radio IS the same, crystal controled. The PL/DPL/ or signaling is set with a Radius RSS.
