Ok, a few years ago, we had two squads role in with DTMF mics on VHF Maratracs.

For some reason the mic's had to be mod'd for I think it was PTT or something...cant recall...

They also had a problem with low modulation on the mic, which we was going to address after the DTMF PTT mod on the mic....

but the mod actually fixed the modulation problem too...

like i said, my memory is kinda scratchy about it but to make a long story short, does anyone know any mods to these DTMF mic's that sounds familiar to what i am talking about...

i stupidly misplaced the mod sheet so i am shooting in the dark

Nick, I seem to remember reading a thread on the board here about this subject, but I can't find it with the search engine. Do a little hunting, or maybe someone else will remember where it is.
