Maxtrac Problem

Ive got a moto maxtrac that wont transmit and the RX/TX light blinks as if it was RX but there is nothing being recieved. The rest of the audio works. Any ideas?

You may have more than one problem.
What does it do if you hold the monitor button in for several seconds?

Is it UHF model in the 449-470 split? If so are you trying to use in on ham freqs? If that is the case you will need to do a simple realignment of the radio. Look here.

Check your programming to be sure busy channel lockout is not turned on

As far as the light flashing, is it too close to your PC.
