Question: XTS Vs. Astro Saber

Post by r_lo28 »

Can Astro Sabers be programmed just like XTS3000's? I.E., my local has gone to XTS3000's on a digital system. I used to have my Saber III basically programmed like an expensicve scanner, to reciveve ONLY, and not TX. Now that my local has gone to XTS digital, can I purchase a Astro Saber and program the same, or does it HAVE to be an XTS model?

You can use an ASTRO Saber, as long as it is does IMBE digital.

If they have a conventional system, it'll work fine. If it's a trunking system, buy a scanner.
