gp300 settings

can anyone tell me how much power is going out in the 3 settings :- low,med,high.
also in ideal conditions what range would be expected at full power UHF

full power on uhf is 4 watt, your range depends on your terrain, you will get more range out in a flat desert than you will in a downtow major city or in the hills.

What's your definition of 'ideal conditions'? I've easily reached over 50 miles from hilltop to hilltop with 4-watt UHF portables. I've also done the same with 3-watt 800MHz portables.
Ground level with no obstructions such as over water, somewhere between 10-20 miles shouldn't be a problem.
I've had them in areas such as gypsum tunnels where you could literally yell further than they worked.
Pretty well any other scenario, your mileage varies dramatically.
