Impres batteries and BMS...

Can impres batteries be conditioned/analyzed with a non-impres BMS?

but why would you want to?


you would lose all of the built in energy management features of the impres system.

buy an impres rack and toss your BMS into the trash.... or on ebay - same difference.

Yes they can, and no you will not loose the internal battery data.

I assume that you are still using a proper Impres charger for day to day charging. With the Impres charger you will get all the benifits of reconditioning as required and end of service life indication.

just add the display unit to your impress chargers and you have the full kit
All without risk of damage.
