Does anyone have the capability to fix a f01/92 error on an mt2000
vhf. I took it to a local radio service who said they could not fix and
motorola will not touch it until I have the scrambler taken off of it
because it is after-market. Thank you in advance

F01/92 is just a checksum error and can be revived with a reload of proper codeplug data.

One other problem the F01/92 can be is: Defective controller, then you would need to replace the entire board and reprogram and align.

What you should try is removing the option board that's installed, that may be causing the conflict, it's probably not the cause, but it is worth a look into to make certain.

If you can, Email a copy of your codeplug so I can look it over to see if there's any trouble spots.

If you choose to Email me, please use my Yahoo address.
