Silverado Pickup

I've got a Silverado, any reccomendations for a trans hump console?

Looking to hold a Whelen MPC-01, Uniden scanner, ICOM-207H VHF/UHF, switch panel, and a Whelen Cencom.

Excessive, I know.

Would a MPC-03 perform the functions of both the MPC-01 and the Cencom?

It comes down to how you really want to program up the MPC01 and if you really want to have "all control to play" or to do something "logical" with it.

What would be really nice is for Whelen to come out with a DEK box for the MPC series, but that's not going to happen. If you really think about it, its not needed.

Now with that in mind, what I did was use the two aux input (ground activated) to the MPC01 with a Motorola DEK to use a couple of extra toys on the BLINK system.

At least this way, you have two more buttons for the BLINK, and you have a the rest of the DEK for low current switching (or high current with relays). Hell of a lot cheaper than laying out the cash for a Cencom.
