After doing some searching on the board here it was said that a Vertex VPL-1 cable will program a Pyramid Model SVR-200 Vehicular Repeater and the programing port for the SVR is found by removing the curcit board and the port next to the led's is the port to use not the port on the outside of the unit. My ? is the port on the inside of the svr is not the same size as the jack on the VPL-1 cable, how is this going to program the pyramid then.

Unscrew the front panel of the SVR where the LED's are. Behind that panel you'll find the programming jack, a mini-earphone type connector that's compatible with the VPL-1.
Don't look at the connector on the rear panel that's by the antenna jack. That's an earphone-type connector that you plug an optional external speaker into.
Also, the VPL-1 was available with several different plug-on adapters. You may not have the correct one. It's a mini-earphone to DIN-5 type connector adapter.
