Batboard

We are in the process of doing the field upgrades to fix the XTS3000's Tx noise problems. During reassembly we are experiencing at high rate of failure on the LCD. No display & no apparrent power up tones. Replacing LCD fixes problem. We are being gentle and we are strapped in. Is the flex cable just too fragile or ??? Has any one else experienced this ?
