MTR2000 - MTC3600 conflict

Hopefully this may save someone several months of troubleshooting & dealing with Motorola System Support.

In order for the MTR2000 to work properly with an MTC3600 controller, the station control card in the MTR must be the latest version "K" (TCN6273K)

We built a system a few years back, and the card version at the time was "J" (TCN6273J). It wasn't noticed until much after the fact, but the MTR2000's would drop repeatedly throughout the day. They would suddenly not detect TDATA, and go into failsoft. The MTC3600 would try to assign the repeater & see that it wasn't available, so it would drop it from the active list, then do a comms test 5 minutes later, see that it was there, and re-enable it. This was happening with every repeater in the system, multiple times per day. Eventually, upgrading to the latest "K" revision station control card solved the issue.

I can only assume versions prior to "J" also had this issue, and possibly other issues as well.

Anyone out there with MTR/MTC systems, might want to check this out.
