I have a working MSR-2000 VHF repeater. It has a 2 line LINE DRIVER card installed. I am wanting to connect a T1370A REMOTE DESK SET to it. It will only be about a 30 foot run from the remote to the repeater.

Can this be directly connected?

Terminals on the line driver are:
E-1 & E-2 (Line 1)
E-3 & E-4 (Line 2)
E-5 (RPTR PTT)
E-6 (ANT SW)
E-7 (Spare)
E-8 (GND)

Terminals on the remote desk set are:

T-1 through T-12.

Wires currently connected to the remote (as I received it) are:
T-1 RED
T-2 WHITE
T-3 open
T-4 BLACK
T-5 open
T-6 GREEN
T-7 SHIELD

My two bits worth:
The line driver is intended for use with a standard DC or Tone remote.
What you have is a "Gutless Wonder" local remote.
Essentially an extended mike, speaker and PTT switch.

You will have to locate the appropriate leads on the card cage
The cable colors:
Brown: mike hi
Shield: mike low (ground)
Green: PTT
Black: Ground
Yellow: Speaker HI
White: PL monitor.
Red connect to 12V, provide 12V to PTT lamp, eliminating the line cord from the remote. (That big fat cord, and a transformer only to run the PTT light.)
You will have to open the remote to verify the connections.
The volume on the remote is set by the local speaker pot in the control tray.

I can research the connections if you do not have a manual.
