XTS3000 "SCAN" menu item is missing

Hello all,

I have a XTS3000 M3 here, flash is 599108-1C5E00-1, I'm using CPS R05.02.00.

My question is why is the "SCAN" menu item does not appear in the CPS. I can set a button to activate SCAN but not from the menu.

You can't assign scan to a menu item and a button simulataneously - one or the other.

Make sure you don't have scan assigned to any buttons or switches.

did you make sure you didnt already have a buton or switch set to scan? i dont think the cps will let you duplicate functions.

i just double checked. you have to remove scan from any other control switch. i have mine on the ABC switch and when i blanked it, SCAN showed up in the menu.

Yeah this drove me crazy for awhile, I had no buttons/switches setup as SCAN and had it listed in the menu, awhile later I realised I had SCAN also set for a button in the XTVA HHCH screen as well.

Needless to say it's back as a button now because I use it so much.
