I have the suitcase programer for the CLB MSF5000 eproms. I don't need a chip programed.

The question I have is: as I go through the programing menus on the suitcase, there are many abreviations or codes (IE: SC SCA CA C SA etc.) I don't know what they mean.

Does someone have a document outlining these codes or can you direct me to something on or offline to read up on these?

I don't have a manual that might outline these codes and can only guess as to their meaning. I have programmed several chips with few problems but, it's the problem ones I am trying to eleminate.

I have searched old posts here but, found none helpful.

Although I'm more familiar with the digital trays than I am with the suitcase programmer would have to say that what you mentioned refers to reciever control and station holdin etc. The qualifiers are as follows:
sca=audio squelch, pl detect, aux detect
sc=audio squelch and pl detect
a=aux detect
c=pl detect
s=audio squelch
on=receiver always unsquelched
off=receiver never unsquelched
sa=audio squelch, aux detect
ca=pl detect aux detect
The digital tray may hold more options but you get the picture.

That does help. However, what does "D" mean in that RX portion?
There is an "SCAD" option.

Is there a programing manual Part# for this thing?

D stands for RX PL DS switch causes the PTT to revert to carrier squelch operation.

Would this D toggle mean: that if in repeater mode, it won't key unless both COS and PL Detect are properly met?

I use outboard controllers on most of these.

Where would the "A" auxiliary detect show up on the audio-control board?

I am looking at what use this might provide for outside controllers.

It will be a very long shot to find one of these manuals but, maybe some one can bring one to Dayton.
