Motorola Power series batteries? Escomm or anyone else

Just wondering, what excactly does that mean? Is it closer to the NRG stuff?

Just means it's not considered one of their "premium" NiCD batteries with the 18-month warranty. The physical build quality seems the same (on the outside at least), so they must use cheaper cells or something.

The cells are not as finely sorted (there's a reason most Motorola batteries ship from the factory with 105-125% of their rated capacity) and the warranty is not as long, so Motorola does not have to support the batteries for as long as they do with other lines.

I wouldn't say the cells are cheaper, in fact I've got a bunch of MagOne (yet another Motorola battery product line) GP300 NiCDs and the cell origins are from Japan... I hate to say it but the high cap Impres Li-Ion's I've been selling like hotcakes are all cell origin China =\
