I got some M1225's that i am working on, they were originally setup as a back to back repeater i guess, anyway, i got the wiring off the accessory connectors figured out except for one pin.

On the TX radio they had a wire coming off pin 13, SW A+ SENSE, but i don't know what it was connected to. Just curious, what is this wire used for??

Pin 10 is the ignition sense, got that figured out, but what about 13?

Pin 13 is a low current switched A+, just like it says....I've used it to power low current devices like preamps. +13.8V when the front panel switch is in on position, and 0V when it's off.
I don't recall the exact maximum current available, but I seem to think it's around .5 amp max.

I'd have to check to be sure, but I believe that is A+ controlled by the on/off switch. You can use it to power another device, such as a tone remote panel, or it can trigger the ignition sense on the other radio in a repeater so they both turn on from one switch. There's a limit on the current you can draw, I think it's 1 amp.

Ok, thanks guys. That's all i needed to know, now i know why it was being used previously, it was powering the controller that used this pair of radios as a repeater originally.

Looked it up, .5 amps it is. I was thinking of the CDM radio which lists max current on pin 13 as 1A.
