Hello,

I am looking for a mobile conventional full-duplex solution for interconnect purposes. What do you guys use for such a setup? Of course a handset would be necessary with a DTMF panel (on the radio or on the mic, no prob). BTW there is no cellular service available at the location where this system would be installed.

Thanks

Micor and Mitrek gear can be made to run duplex with a single radio. Anything later would require two.

Is this on VHF or UHF? Sounds like you need an old fashioned VHF "mobile phone" radio. You'll need a duplexer, and if the frequency pair is closer than about 5 mhz or so, the duplexer will be big and expensive, on VHF

It might not be exactly what you want but the Moto R1225 transceiver from the GR1225 repeater will do full duplex with a duplexer added.

Just my $.02.

The FDX Maxtrac mobile is a great full duplex conventional radio with DTMF and handset, if you don't mind 800 MHz.

I forgot to mention "with new Motorola equipment" ;) This client wants to buy brand new radio equipment for this setup. :)
