Signaling, NON-MDC on Conventional Analog channels

heres the sitation, a municipality i work in has XTS-3500R UHF2 Type 3 portables... the flash code is 500001-000000-8, decodes to:

Q806/G806 IMBE / APCO-25 Digital Operation
H14/G114 Digital ID Display
H35/G48 Conventional Operation

however, they are operating on some frequencies with MDC1200, and some with another type of signaling. all channels are in Analog, i believe they are still working out the ASTRO kinks...

for the frequencies that are NOT using MDC1200, there is a quick data burst at the beginning and end of the transmission, it is DEFINATELY NOT MDC. the portable is decoding MDC id's as ID: 6733 (for example).... when the portable decodes on the non-MDC identififed channels, it shows ID: 30006733 (for example)

so you guniesses out there... What signaling are they using?

Sounds like it maybe is the "Tactical Public Safety" Signalling.....

What FDNY uses on their XTS3500....

I am pretty sure it transmits voice in analog and then the ID is digital.

Here is more info at this link - http://batboard.batlabs.com/viewtopic.php?t=1857

I just recorded the TPS Signalling but am unable to figure out how to get the .wav file on here.
