Post by batdude »

the IFP is delayed for about 4 weeks (backordered)

here's what my case said:

Case Update Notes:
Line 1, RLN5671A, has an estimated ship date of 3/29/07 due to a quality defect. We are forwarding this case to our Holding Bin and have scheduled an update for 3/20/2007 to confirm the ship date. Your case will be closed following shipment at which time you will receive an automated email notification. Thank you for your patience!

At least that is better than ICOM. More then once we have had a shipment where virtually all that radios were defective. They admitted that they know they were faulty, but hadn't found a fix yet, so were continuing to ship the units until they could figure it out.

Gee, I'm glad I got mine before they were defective.

SG
Kilgore: Smell that? You smell that?
Lance: What?
Kilgore: Napalm, son. Nothing in the world smells like that.
Kilgore: I love the smell of napalm in the morning. You know, one time we had a hill bombed, for 12 hours. When it was all over, I walked up. We didn't find one of 'em, not one stinkin' dink body. The smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole hill. Smelled like... victory. Someday this war's gonna end...
