Hi all
I wonder if anyone here has any knowledge about the MSY receivers. I have problem with a decorder board in that I hear the tone coming through the speaker. I've tried several different receivers and I get the same thing doesn't matter if its VHF or UHF or even Lowband. Was there a fix for this?

Yes, there is susposed to be a hi pass filter on the decoder board (single user ) in series with the audio returning from the level set pot. If the RX did not have the decoder board there is a jumper on the audio board.

The multi user MSY has the hi pass filter also, depending on the version. One the filter is in the receiver wired into the audio board. The other was on one of the multi user boards in the card cage. Same basic choke and capacitor combination.
