I have received about 5 or so CP200's lately that have corrupted codeplugs. They were all from different customers and were of varying firmware dates. I have tried to use Global Tuner and a slightly older CPS version, but to no avail. Anyone have any tricks for clearing this? Thanks, FatBoy

yes, a trip to the depot will fix that. there are not really any other viable options

given that the cp200 is a current product, recommending use of lab is unwise at best

I always found any suggestion of using Lab software of any kind on here to be questionable, given that no one outside of Motorola is authorized to have it. Those topics never get the lock.

That said, the radio is already bricked. How much could it really hurt to try?

I don't tend to lock them as it's not actually breaking any board rules to state LAB can do this/that/etc. If someone wants to openly admit to having LAB software, I leave it out for the world (and Motorola) to see. Now, if it's asked for or offered, that's a different story.
