XTS 3500 MDC Decode Options

i have a silly problem with my XTS 3500... and i am quite sure its user error...

i have MDC Decode Enabled on all channels, and when in scan, Every Channel decodes MDC when available without problems.

when i come off of scan, it doesn't decode anymore. and it might be only on the 12.5khz spacing channels... im not exactly sure on that one...

any ideas guys? im sure its a programming issue, but im not exactly sure how to approach this one...
