I have a CDM1550LS+ that has one Passport Zone and 2 talkgroups in that zone. How do i set it up to scan those 2 talk groups?? I would like to set it up to scan so that talkgroup 1 has priority over talkgroup 2. Please guide me through this.
Thanks
Mikey

In the Passport CPS, under "zone and talkgroup data", check off "enable PP group scan". You can set the scan hang time under the "system timers" tab. Sorry, priority doesn't seem to be an option.
Oh, you also have to set a button for turning scan on/off in the "passport buttons" screen.

Re: Scan and Passport Groups
No need to enable scan if you only want talkgroup 1 to have priority. Just make talkgroup 1 the Primary talkgroup in the Passport PPCPS. No matter what group the user is on they will always hear the primary talkgroup unless you disable that option in the PPCPS.Mikey wrote:I have a CDM1550LS+ that has one Passport Zone and 2 talkgroups in that zone. Your Conventional Buttons and Passport Buttons have to match in order for the scan feature to work. You also have to check the scan option in the talkgroup section for each talkgroup you want to be part of the group scan.Ok, i donked around with it long enough to get it to scan, but it will only scan if i go into the menu and turn on scan, it won't work with the button i programmed into PPCPS for "toggle group scan on/off" why it won't work with the programmed button is beyond me.
