Telario - keypad lock??

I had a customer call saying one of his TC3000 units is showing "keypad locked" on the display...and of course the keypad just beeps at him. I cannot find anything about this feature in the User's Guide on MOL, and so far cannot replicate it one of our shop units. Anyone have any idea what he did & how he can undo it?
