Battery Gauge and RSSI on XTS3.5k
i've noticed that on the xts3.5k the screen has the ability to show RSSI and Battery strength, however, can't find an option to turn these on?

If you were hoping it would indicate battery state like the Impres feature on the newer models then you're SOL.libuff wrote:the battery icon, yes, in the upper left corner of the screen... it seems to have a multi-segmented display... which would seem to indicate it can display battery state... however, i've been fooled by less...
It's either off for a full battery or flashing for a low battery.
The RSSI feature is the same as in all the other radios. It just indicates the strength of the current trunking site.
Electrically, that battery icon is a single segment.libuff wrote:the rssi seems to be a fleeting idea...
