SP50 almost dead

SP50 almost dead

I have a UHF 10 channel SP50 that gives a high pitch beep, then a low pitch beep at turn on. After the beeps, the radio is very dead. Any ideas about problem?

Make sure your volume pot is sunk well. Then check your capacitors around the solder points of the vol pot.

Sp50 is dead as in no RX, no TX, no LED's. Both crystals are OK. Will not read or take a write.
